My kids like "heav," and "presh."
Also the word hectic is apparently a noun?

I should get politics involved, but when I hear “fact of the matter is....” I hear Joe Biden...

I love this thread! What a throwback!
Do grown women talk like this, or was it just high school?

'I'm good' or 'we're good'. In my days we said 'I'm OK'

I *literally* don’t know anyone who talks that way, well except for the over-use of literally. But I don’t live in the U.S. and certainly not in Jewish NY.

All my British friends say this!
I can't say the word canceled anymore, my kids say it all the time!
Grown women saying "shes heaven" when talking about a baby just grates on my nerves.

Ignorant. I've heard it used so many times where it doesn't fit. As in "she was so mean and ignorant. Who does she think she is?"
Also basically. I had a teacher in high school who used it so often, I would keep tally of how many times she said it during class.

Ha! It’s so funny! My husband knew he was officially an old gent when he asked someone for an (easy) favor one time in the city and the guy answered-“ nah, I’m good.”
?!
