Please go for the electrolysis option! It’s the only hair removal that’s really permanent....I started electrolysis after a couple of years of waxing cuz I was desperate for something that will be permanent I only wish I never waxed it would’ve made the process that much faster...

I dunno abt eyebrows, but laser for the lip. I did electrolysis for years as a teen, ended up many yrs later with laser. It took my lip 3 sessions to clear it up for good.

I was told not to start electrolysis until my daughter finishes growing..so we started with waxing and will start electrolysis in high school. apparently it'll take shorter to finish if u start when done growing

She’s 14. Do you think she’ll handle the pain from electrolysis?

Was thinking of starting with waxing and in a year or two letting her decide if she wants to do something else. Is that not a good idea?

I started at 13/14. It wasn’t terrible. Doesn’t waxing hurt too?

I only waxed and don’t do it often. Never tried anything else so can’t compare.

You can use numbing cream for electrolysis. It's the best option for eyebrows. For lips you can do laser. Probably much faster and cheaper.

At 14 I'd still have her shave or wax. She might still be growing and electrolysis or laser is a waste of money.
If she doesn't have too dark or much hair, shaving or waxing is the best option.

Not to derail this thread but where would you recommend getting electrolysis in Flatbush?

N of 2 here: my mother took me for electrolysis right after puberty started (6 months after my period) for my eyebrows and the results were great and permanent. DD 12 has been going for electrolysis for her uni-brow for 6 months with great results. She finds her upper lid is too painful with electrolysis and asked for laser. (DH is sephardi and DD has been growing very dark upper lip hair). She tolerates laser for the upper lip but it's too soon to see results.

I live OOT so I cannot recommend anyone in Flatbush. Hatzlacha!
