They almost look like a bathing cap and I wish they would make them a few inches longer. Why do they make them so short. I tried stretching them and it doesn't work that well. I saw such a cute snood today with silver hearts on it and I tried it on and it did not look cute because it was super thin material and very short. I might have to come out with my own line of snoods since I know other people have complained about the same issue. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't like the pretied look and I like the regular snoods.

Same issue here.
I tried on so many snoods lately and can't find one that doesn't have that bathing cap look.

Same here! I find that only the real chenille one's stretch and are long enough. The knits and other fabrics don't stretch and I look awful in them. I have some old one's that I'm holding on too because they're the only one's that I look ok in.

Yes! I’m with you.

The best I could find online were the ribbed lurex snoods from Lizi headwear. They are still short, but if I wear my hair in a low ponytail instead of a bun, that brings it down a bit lower.

I also bought these beanies from Amazon, removed the fleece lining and wear them with a ponytail to get the longer snood look.

But nothing comes close to what snoods used to be.

Someone could substantiate what I am writing, I am sure, but I think rav Falk addressed long snoods. I think he mentioned that they are not the best idea for head covering because the length at the back makes them too heavy and they slip back.
But I also am holding onto the long, velour snoods that I bought in the dark ages when I got married, as I don't see them in stores anymore and I feel like a snood that just covers the head doesn't feel like it's covering enough and it really doesn't flatter many people's heads.

Reva has xl snoods it's the pink label. But you need to check each one because some are bigger and some are as small as the one size fits all.

I bring along my old one and then choose the longest one.

Double Header has it and also The Sock Exchange on 13th ave and 45th st.

I totally agree. I don’t need super long like Snow White and the seven dwarfs but really 2 inches would really help
