I’m not sure if this is the right forum or not
I sometimes use wine/beer/alcohol to cook with
The wine is cooked so no alcohol should be present
Is this a problem for guests
You never know if someone is an alcoholic
Would this compromise their sobriety
Thinking about special recipes for RH

The alcohol cooks out. It shouldn't be a problem.

I would personally never risk it on behalf of a guest who has struggled with alcoholism.
For a pregnant woman it’s probably fine, since like PP said it cooks out. But for alcoholism, I would be extremely careful. Just because the alcohol cooks out doesn’t mean no flavor remains, and you never know what might trigger a craving.

You can make sure to mention it, even just in casual conversation while introducing the dish, like, “I love this recipe...” or some other way of subtly making sure people know it contains alcohol, and let them decide accordingly without having to out themselves.

I think it would depend on how much the liquid flavors the dish.
Rum babka would be very strong. One bottle of beer in cholent, used to soften the meat, would have no taste at all. (I use a can of Guiness in my beef stew, and even the cheapest cuts of meat fall apart and are juicy.)
Sometimes wine cooked in dishes can still taste fairly strong, but then most alcoholics don't really like wine as their drink of choice.
If you're really worried, you can always save your alcohol seasoned dishes for days when you're not expecting company.

I do it and we're a no alcohol household. I don't take it if pregnant though

Don’t. The alcohol does not always cook out.
