I need to be in a place where I cannot SD in a location that is seeing a spike in cases. I'm looking into protective gear but there is a lot of confusing information out there.
Where can I purchase genuine n95 masks for personal use?
Are k95 masks the same as n95?
How can I tell if a product has FDA approval?
How can I know what to order on Amazon?
I would appreciate links for trustworthy online sources with quick delivery or the type of local store that might have these for sale.

N95s are National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) approved for medical use.
KN95s are the European and Chinese equivalent with good particle filtering.
Most other masks are FDA registered and it just means they have an exemption and it doesn't mean much, just that they registered to be on the FDA list. If they are FDA 510k, then it means something and it's worthwhile and approved by the CDC.
Buy from a vendor you trust who has already done the research for you and brought in quality items. They have quick delivery.

I got FDA approved KN95 masks from bonafidemasks.com
They are an authorized distributor and I did a lot of research before finding them because I was worried about counterfeits.
They also sell face shields and surgical masks and bought some of these as well.
