The Last Thing You Surrender. Hands down the best book I have read in many years. A total departure from what I normally read. I had to sit and think about this book for a while when I finished.

Are not "kosher" books OK?
Just read The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See. Thought it was excellent.
I appreciate learning about different cultures. It was not a Frum book, but it was not trashy and I don't remember anything particularly inappropriate.
