Sauté onions and salt to taste until very flavorful. Serve slices with seasoned onions on top.

Maybe use it as a base to serve an Asian stir fry instead of rice. Soy sauce and the like can be pretty salty.

I ended up doing this with the other kugel. (I got 2 10" round out of one recipe) It was delicious!! I may start doing this as a regular dinner.
