I live in Rockland county I’m looking to take my kids on a 2-3 day chol hamoed trip, willing to drive up to 8 hours away any ideas of great places? I would rather head south then north for warmer weather!!

If you want to head south, look into Baltimore/DC or Norfolk/VA Beach. Other options to the north are Lake George/Saratoga and Buffalo/Niagara.

If go to Balt area can go to six flags. Yearly membership is cheaper there and can use all next year (typically) in nj

Always best to call and ask in these times, when things can change frequently. But their website seems to say that they currently only have minyan on Shabbos, though they definitely had a weekday minyan when we were there many years ago: https://www.kesherisrael.org/minyan/

We’ve also davened there many times over the years. I’m assuming it’s bec of covid and not wanting tourists.
