I did well at Target online. But I didn’t shop around. I had a $40 coupon off 40 and two Gift cards.

Even without coupon, target is very well priced for school supplies now

Instead of sending a school supplies list, my daughter's school is having everyone bring in $20 at the beginning of the year which will cover all school supplies that they'll give out. Saves time, saves money. Think it's a brilliant idea!

I think Target offered such a coupon for new Red Card cardholders.

Ah. I'm not new. Oh well. I'll probably hit up Walmart once I figure out what I don't already have in my stash.
BTW for people who are really having a hard time with this, there are some places that arrange free giveaways of backpacks full of supplies. My community has one and it's funded by some foundation of something or other that surely covers other places in NY.

Depending on what you need, Dollar Tree has decent stuff, like pencils, highlighters etc. Not sure about online though.

ok. I just ordered from target and staples. We usually get some free supplies but was told that this year because of carona the school isn't having it.

If you're willing to go shopping in stores, here's my list of places for the cheapest supplies:
1. Walmart for colored pencils markers and crayons. .50 each package for the crazyart brand
2. Goodwill - I've got brand new looseleaf binders for less than .50 each, and they sell so many things for pennies.
