I do not want a smart phone, but flip phones can be annoying for texting. Does anyone have a recommendation for an easy to use, good dumb phone? Also tell me about your cheap phone plans, please.

I live in the tri-state Area. My husband is going off his parents Verizon plan he has a CDMA dumb phone and would like to just start using it on another plan. I use mint and I’m very happy but you need a phone with a Sim card so I am looking for something else for him
