How is it that Kay Sheppard's diet for food addicts isnt mentioned on any thread here?
Ive met people who have done remarkably well on it. They look and feel amazing.
My problem with it is that theres a lot of food preparation involved.
She has meal plans but every meal must have specific weights of different food groups.
And she specifies these foods that you must abstain from, as C R A P:
C Caffeine, R Refined Carbohydrates, A Alcohol, P Processed foods
although some people do very well even with a little cheating (coffee, etc).

The people I know who follow her food plan successfully also go to OA meetings And work the steps. It can be an amazing answer of one is willing to put in the work And do it right

My question is if you have to eat protein every breakfast, what can people eat if they dont want eggs every day, and dont want to eat fish or meat for breakfast?

Her book is an interesting read. It gives a lot of perspective beyond just the food plan. I was able to get it from my local library.
