I need to store my older daughter’s uniforms for my younger daughter to use in a few years.
The material is thick and fairly stiff, by Betty Z.
Can I fold them and put them in bins or will it ruin the pleats forever?

Roll them up instead of folding them. (Longways, so all the pleats are hanging smoothly.)Then put the roll into a stocking leg which will hold it in shape. If the bins are long enough, lay the rolls flat in the bin. Diagonally might give you a few extra inches. If they don't fit in a bin, try to find the back of a shelf somewhere that they can lie flat. Don't fold the rolls in half - that will completely ruin the pleats.

I fold them. The pleats come out ok. If I want them freshened up I'll send it to the cleaners to press when my younger daughter is ready to use them.
