This is so interesting. Never heard something like this. How is it different than passing on the car seat from one child to the next?

It's only a problem if the car seat has been in an accident. Insurance often covers a new car seat in this case. As the parent of the previous car seat dwellers you know if it's been in an accident or not. When you buy one used how do you know if they're being truthful?
