No pill, just a ton of Powerade or Gatorade.

Not a pill, but quinoa for seudat mafseket and for anbeissen feels very good, becauses those are carbs that are released slowly, so you feel no sudden drop in blood sugar...

Can someone explain this to me?
I understand cutting back on coffee before the fast to not have withdrawal and making sure you are well hydrated before the fast, but can someone explain how all these pills and suppositories are in the spirit of the fast and why they are ok?
Can I just hook up a IV or tube feeding (BH I am healthy and have no medical need, but would be less hungry and cranky)
Not judging, trying to understand.

Pills are the same idea as keeping hydrated. It releases energy slowly so you don’t feel weak.

Pills are also from hashem. We have them now to help with the fast because our generation is weak in body and spirit compare to previous generations.
