I love my green living room. It's a light beigey green, looks so regal.

It is so difficult. I was told that white is in fashion now. I think that you need to have a gorgeous house in order for the white not to look just a standard dorm room white.

I don't know but I can try to check tomorrow.

You can search moss green, sage green. They are light, refreshing greens- they look almost neutral. My wood floor looks great with it. It almost makes me feel like I'm on vacation, reminds me of plants and greenery.

I think white is only good for new gorgeous modern homes with the perfect decor to complement it. I also think you should do what you like regardless of my opinion or anyone else's Wink

What colors do you like?

Search on Pinterest, you'll find some gorgeous photos so you can picture the concept. Search "light green living room walls" and scroll down.

I have that in my bedrooms and love it there because I added color to the rooms with linen, wall art, flooring etc.
but in my dining room I went with neutral floors, shades and furniture and a livelier, happier shade on the walls - and I couldn't be happier!

These colors are kind of gray. Are they? I don’t want gray.

That's the problem. Colors look differently in different rooms and in different lights. I did not want yellowish hue (have seen too many green rooms that are too yellow), so I went with blue and green that have a gray undertone. They don't look gray in my rooms. The right thing to do is to buy a sample size can, paint a large square and see the wall in natural and artificial light. I was too lazy to do this, so I bought sticky squares on samplize.com in 4 or 5 colors that I was considering. It turned out very different from what I was expecting.
