My son is in a yeshiva in Lakewood. Any bochur that didn’t feel well, was told by medical doctors to return to yeshiva as soon as they felt better. No quarantining.

If you stick your arm in a bear cage, you are going to get bit.

It's one class. Not all preschool classes.

It's one specific kindergarten class that was told to stay home until after R"H since they're teacher was exposed.

Still, I imagine they play together on the roof or whatnot.

I find this shocking and wonder which medical doctors are saying this.

I've spoken directly with several Lakewood doctors - at 3 different pediatric practices and 2 internal medicine groups - and they ALL expressed great concern that people are not following SD precautions as they strongly recommend. They also spoke about the absolute necessity of quarantining when required.

They don't play together. Haven't you been following the parent conferences? Reading the information packets? The emails? Each class is kept as a capsule because of this exact scenario.

These are just some of my emotions.

I'm confused. What's the point of testing random healthy kids?!
A kid who isnt feeling well might just as well have strep throat, a random 24 hour bug, or nothing at all. If a kid isnt feeling well, they usually go to the doctor. And the doctor is the one to decide to test the child for covid.
So why are you saying chasidishe mosdos arent testing. Are they supposed to test all the 5000 kids in their schools randomly? Clog up all the waiting rooms?
Or are you talking about kids who arent feeling well?
I personally dont know of any kids who havent been feeling well and are home right now. Everyone I know, their kids are bh fine and in school.
In any case, the bochurim are home now for bain hazmanim so there's no yeshiva.

Torah vadas brought down instant tests after one person was exposed. The instant don’t get documented and accounted for.

A moms test came back positive, she was told not to test her kids,
A child in school wasn’t feeling well, he was told, stay home until you feel better.dont take the test.
My various opinions is irrelevant, hence my various emotions, but these are the facts.

I heard from a Brooklyn doctor that he is getting numerous calls about people getting sick, but the community is keeping it quiet for fear of getting closed down . . .
