hi there
my daughter wants to go to a seminary next year in Israel. we live in South Africa, so we do not have much information here about the different sems and what they offer. where would I be able to get a list of sems with descriptions etc so we can look into them?

Does the principal of your DD's school work with the girls for seminary placements? I definitely remember that there were girls from S. Africa in my seminary year...in fact, one of the girls in the room next door to me was S. African. So girls have definitely been going from your end of the world for over 20 years!

What about the new one somthing yehudis. That uses gateshead as base for hashkafa and all ladyteachers are gateshead grads?

I don’t know so much about the seminary besides that the few friends I had there loved it. I think it’s small and homey type. Definitely very good girls and possibly a little heimish type.
