I got a dried fruit platter from them. They said all ingredients are kosher but no official hashgacha! Anyone from Brooklyn know if ppl eat there?

It’s a high end fruit store.
The issue with dried fruits is that some need to be checked for bugs.

Don’t they need to be kosher - they have added sugar etc?

Its on j and Coney. I checked it out a while back with a rabbi who said its fine to eat cut fruits from there..I just obviously dont eat the stuff I dont eat in general which are blackberries and raspberries
I buy their cut fruit salad often

ask your lor but I eat from them. happen to know the owner too.
