How can I help a teen who has IBS? She doesn't know what exactly triggers it; says her stomach hurts after everything.
Any nutritionists in Brooklyn who could guide us? Preferably covered by insurance (GHI)

Try the dietitian group (AKA Boro Park Nutrition) They have a lot of good nutritionists and take insurance.

I’m just curious why a gastroenterologist can’t guide her?

I doubt a GI will spend 45 mins weekly/biweekly with her to discuss her diet

Keep a journal of all foods and drinks. Write down how much and volume. That’s the first step.
