Need some ideas please
He is a business man - does financial planning and also learns every day in kollel for a Seder

What does a man that age appreciate?
He’s soooo easy. Very no frills personality but think the right gift would be so appreciated by him.
Thanks

Honestly a note letting me know how proud she is. How valuable my contribution to this world is. How the life I've chosen is a source of comfort to her ...

Those would have been better than any gift.

So if you can find a way to let him know he's doing great. It would likely be a tremendous source of chizuk.

Gifts are so nice. But I can't suggest anything without knowing the person's passions.

How about a fake Time magazine "Man of the Year" cover with his picture, if he'd appreciate that sort of thing. Or how about a stylish briefcase or whatever young financial men- about- town use these days to carry their lunch and toys important papers.

You'd get more relevant ideas if you gave some more info about your ds and his likes and dislikes. If he collects anything from cuff links to teddy bears, he's easy--just get something new to add to his collection. Also your price range would help. Are you looking in the range of a Vistaprint mug with an image of his diploma on it; in the range of a Gucci leather attache case or in the range of a Lexus?

I like the idea of a briefcase like for laptop or gemara.
Samsonite has some great ones for decent prices.
