My daughter has started her period a few months ago. She’s been getting it Every 2.5- 3 weeks. Anyone else experience that?

One of my daughters had that for a few cycles when her period first started, then she went 3 months without a period then 2 periods in a month, then period every 6 weeks. Perfectly normal for a teen. Things working themselves out. Don't worry Hug

I don't remember exactly what it was. But I was very irregular as a teen. Plus I didn't understand how to keep track and try to predict so I ruined lots of undergarments.

I would suggest maybe finding a good period tracker app. Or buying her a personal calendar.

Also, thinx might be a good option for extra protection.

I remember getting my period very close together when I first started getting it and then have 35 day cycles for a while and after a few years, my cycles became stable at a 27/28 day cycle. It’s very normal.

Only two years after she first got it, if it's still irregular, you can see a doctor, up until then it could be normal.

I had the same when I first got mine. My pediatrician said it's normal within the first year.

For me it was the opposite. At first I got it about every 3 months. Eventually it regulated. I think it’s very common for it to not come monthly at first.
