Hi, my kids are home because their teachers have corona. We are trying to make a schedule. They would love to do science experiments. I am very not crafty so cutting things to the perfect angle do not work for me.
Does anyone have easy almost no fail science experiments that we can try.
Going to the grocery soon so I can buy ingredients
Thank you so much.
My kids will thank you for your help!

There was a thread back at the beginning of Corona with exactly the same question and it provided excellent resources.

I will try to find it and dig it out...

Here it is:

Try this site. They have lots of fun scientific e Prime tsp that mostly use regular home based ingredients. The look fun to do, and the site explains the science behind it, which you can pass on to your children at their own level.

If the link doesn't work, goggle 'baking soda volcano'. That's how I found it.

You don't say how old your kids are, but we really like this book. 90% of the experiments use things you already have at home.

Usually when kids say they want to do science experiments they mean they want to see explosions, smoke, color changes....

That's all chemical change and physical change.

This page has extremely entertaining experiments.

I like to do the yeast and hydrogen peroxide one (creates a thermal reaction), the color change one, and the blow up a balloon one.

Experiments 1,2,4 and 5 on the page
