I am looking for ideas for "relaxing" by yourself time. What do you do? Ie. Read a book, shop, go out with a friend? Take a bath?

Please share! Thanks.

I go on the computer, check email, browse facebook and some other sites. Not exactly the most relaxing idea, I guess.

Sometimes I will watch a DVD with headphones or read a book. I also sometimes like to write - I think that's the best therapy.

I used to love doing jigsaw puzzles, you just need somewhere to hide it from little fingers during the day.
These days I relax by visiting imamother and eating chocolate.

Thanks so much for the replies keep them coming. There are lots of things I would like to do but I get so tired just thinking about them! For example going out shopping means taking a bus somewhere and then shlepping back. Taking a bath means dressing again. I usually just land up resting watching a movie or browse websites but it does get boring. I like doing projects but it also takes time.

Needlepoint, while listening to music with earphones. (Helps drain out background noise and puts me in a different zone)
Read, watch a DVD
Scrapbooking
Writing poetry
Reading recipes ( love cookbooks)
Curling up in bed under cozy quilts and listen to music .

I like doing cross stitch. Find it very relaxing and then I have a beautiful picture to hang or give as a gift.

Bath before bed, read, netlflix/internet, bake, girls night out or walk with girlfriend, chat on phone with friends/family haven't talked to in a long time, clothes shopping (very rare that happens!), take a nap or go to bed early

Sit on the couch and read.
Go to Target, browse the store, and buy things I don't really need.
