cholent was made on Friday, put back in fridge til Sunday. is it safe to reheat it in crockpot on Sunday night for the kids to eat on monday?

It’s fine. Food needs to be kept at 140 degrees F for food safety usually. Thick foods are harder to keep hotter. You could check your crock pot food with a thermometer sometime.
