How do I make noodles for chicken soup? What type of noodles should I use? Should I cook separately or boil them in the soup?

Egg noodles (I like the fine)
Cook separately.
Put a serving in each bowl before you label the soup in.

Make a double batch of "Pesach noodles" (there are tons of recipes online, and it's super easy, you're just making faux crepes with egg, potato starch, a pinch of salt, and water.)

To serve, slice the noodles off of the rolled up crepes, and put in the bottom of the bowls. Pour the hot soup over the noodles just before serving.

DD adores Pesach noodles, and would always steal the ends off of the rolls when I was slicing them. I've never met anyone who didn't love them. They're so much healthier than pasta, anyway. I use them for my veggie lasagna, and you can't tell the difference.

Make one batch for dinner, and freeze the rest. They freeze beautifully.

Hack- I make an entire package of the egg noodles, and after draining, freeze in individual baggies.

Bring a large pot of water to boil. Add egg noodles. Cook around 18 minutes. Rinse and drain in colander over sink.

You could use the tiny square or bow shaped.
Instructions are usually on packets
After draining rinse with cold water to cool off and prevent sticking
Cooking in a soup is best taste but then when you put away in fridge the soup becomes very thick.
