As someone who has followed the many covid threads and has many relatives and friends in Brooklyn/ Monsey, I understand the feelings that most people have had covid and the precautions being instituted now are unnecessary.
Where I live, we didn’t have a huge surge in March and we’re hoping to avoid a huge surge.
My question is for those of you in the frum areas - do you see that these precautions are necessary for other areas to avoid what you went through
Don’t you visit other areas of NY/NJ for shopping appointments etc? Host simchos with people from all over? Do you think it works to have one set of rules for everyone and another set for these very specific areas?

Everybody should be following all of the rules, all of the time.

There's also been a rise in cases in non jewish neighborhoods on Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Harlem..
