Wouldn't it be great to compile all of our easiest recipes in one thread? cake

This is my go-to recipe:

Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
1 C peanut butter
1 C Dark Brown Sugar (lightly packed)
1 egg

Directions
01. Preheat oven to 350 F
02. Combine ingredients into dough mixture
03. Shape dough into balls
04. Use a fork to make crisscross lines across each ball
05. Transfer to baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes

Yields: Approximately 15 cookies

Yes, it’s that easy!

Note: This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled, which you will likely want to do after your first batch “disappears”! 😉

Mushroom rice:
Rice, water (look up how much according to how many servings you want), can of mushrooms, a drizzle of oil, onion soup mix.
Cover tightly and bake in oven on 350 until the water is gone.
Meat ziti:
Bag of raw noodles, full jar of pasta sauce, spices as you like (I do salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder), water to cover, ground beef (little pieces).
Cover tightly and bake in oven on 350 until water is gone.
Chicken lomein:
Saute onions and mushrooms in a large pot. Add raw spaghetti, teriyaki sauce, brown sugar, and lots of garlic powder. Cover with water and then cover pot. Mix every ten minutes or so. When water is gone and spaghetti is cooked add shredded boiled chicken from chicken soup.
Tip: use more teriyaki sauce than you think you need since it gets watered down

Chicken Tiryaki

Chicken cutlets
Flour
Mikees tiryaki sauce

Put flour in a food storage bag. Add chicken cutlets and shake the bag until cutlets are coated in flour.
Spray as many 9x13 pans as you need.
Lay out chicken in pans in a single layer.
Pour tiryaki sauce on top. Smear evenly with a spoon so chicken is covered in top with sauce.
You can add a few sprinkles of water to pan but don’t have to.
Cover.
Bake on 400 for half hour to 40 minutes.

CHICKEN MARSALA

Heat 2 T olive oil and 2 T margarine or coconut oil in a large skillet.

Chop one onion, and saute in the oils.

Coat several thin chicken cutlets in potato starch, corn starch, flour .... or nothing if you prefer. Add to skillet to brown, about 5 minutes.

Turn cutlets over, add 1 to 2 boxes sliced mushrooms (I used portabella, but you can use what you like), 1/4 cup marsala wine, 2 T sherry. Cover and cook 10 minutes.

Garlic chicken:

Pat dry chicken cutlets. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and garlic on both sides.

Heat margarine or oil in pan.

Add minced garlic to oil.

Fry cutlets.

It's yum!

Margarine obviously tastes better 😅

Now that's what I call an easy recipe! I do something very similar but use bottled barbecue sauce instead of duck sauce then bake uncovered in oven. Delicious.
