My niece who is 22 is looking to rent an apartment in Lakewood. She's looking for roommates to split the rent with. Any ideas how to find one? Or does anyone know someone looking to rent an apartment with someone else? If you know of any leads, please let me know!

Advertise on luach .com
Theres a roomate section.
Option to post her number or have ppl contact her through the website, she'll likely get more inquiries if she posts her number

Look in all the local papers (BP graphics, etc..) I've seen such advertisements.
What's complicated about these rentals is that you generally have to commit to a lease. So if one person backs out (for example, she gets married) she will have to find a replacement.
When my sister got a great job in Lakewood a few years ago, I insisted she move in with me rather than join such a setup, because she could be stuck paying months of rent in the event she get married (which B"H, she did! ) if she didn't find someone to take her spot.

There are apts shared by single girls.
Many times the landlords rent it as that
I would take out an ad and check ads for listing.
Does she know other single girls bec info spreads by word of mouth a lot
I do think vacancies are hard to find but they do happen.
