When a lot of threads are being started on one forum it holds up the front board and fills it up and you can't see any other post and it can get very frustrating

Yael is sitting shiva and has decided for this time to close the politics section. It will reopen and everyone can calm down. I think we can all deal with one week or so without political threads until the women who has created all of this for us is ready to come back. We can manage. In the mean time, do we REALLY need yet another thread debating the politics section? It is not even what OP asked for.

If anyone has any replies for OP with the names of a website similar to this one where politics can be discussed, please pm me and I will post it here. I am locking this thread out of respect for Yael.
