My son woke up nauseous this morning and couldn't keep any food down all day.
Vomiting and diarrhea.
Is this covid symptoms? Or does he just have a stomach virus.
I mainly heard of fever as a covid symptom.
My son had no fever at all

Hard to say. It is most likely just a stomach bug. But keep him home in case he is contagious.

Yes, many kids had covid symptoms back in March April, not all had fever. Some had mild symptoms or even no symptoms, but were contagious. With covid, everyone reacted different.

But kids get all kinds of viruses and colds all the time, especially when weather's are changing. I wouldn't be alarmed. Just precautious now during a pandemic.

Definitely! I work in an essential business. Had my temperature taken every day as I went into work. (and hoping I had so they would send me home-no luck). In late march I had a cough (which is almost chronic for me). I also had major fatigue and body aches. These were not known symptoms then, so I wasn't sent home. I left work 2 hours early 1 day, and stayed home 1 day thinking all I needed was some rest/sleep as I wasn't sleeping well either. And I kept saying "It's not corona".

As more symptoms became known, I became convinced that it had been corona-and eventually tested for antibodies. Yup, I've got them.

Also sometimes digestive issues can be a first symptom of corona. (I hope not, but to be aware)

Nausea is a symptom of covid. Any symptom of illness can be covid since it presents differently in different people.

With symptoms like that he'll likely need to be in bed all day anyways since even if it is not COVID19 and is a stomach bug usually you need a day or two off...

Here many officials in the med field are saying if you don't have other symptoms such as fever and loss of taste/smell don't assume you have covid and no need to test but idk and believe in being very cautious.

Covid can manifest like this if it hits the inner linings of the stomach...

So yes, it could be Covid but it also could be a stomach bug...

Symptoms of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children
Call your family doctor or pediatrician right away if your child experiences a fever of 100.4 or more, lasting more than 24 hours, and at least one of these symptoms:

Unusual weakness or fatigue
A red rash
Abdominal (belly) pain
Vomiting and diarrhea
Red, cracked lips
Red eyes
Swollen hands or feet
This is a newly identified condition and much more research is needed to understand it. Here’s what doctors and scientists have observed so far:

MIS-C is very rare, but it can be dangerous. Kids showing symptoms should be seen by a doctor.
The syndrome can develop within four weeks of exposure to the new coronavirus.
MIS-C seems to affect children age 2 to 15 and has not been reported in babies.
MIS-C is treatable. Medicines can control the inflammation and help avoid lasting organ damage, especially involving the heart.

I had corona during Rosh Hashanah and I was pretty laid up. I’ve finally been feeling almost completely normal when all of a sudden today I got severe nausea, had diarrhea and vomiting. Having it most of the day.. it totally might be a stomach virus or could it corona acting up again??? Sad

Could chronic nausa be an aftereffect of Covid? My teen DD has been nauseous every morning for months now. Can't figure out what's causing it.

That's common in teenage girls due to hormones.
