Franks n blanks:
All you need is Mazors Puff pastry squares (the larger size, I think they are 4 inch) and hot dogs. Roll one hot dog in one square of dough, slice to desired size. Place in sprayed pan and bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes until puffed and golden.

If you want to be fancier you can egg them and add sesame seeds, but I never bother. Always a hit here Smile

I do that using a drop of mustard on the pastry dough.I never thought not to egg them. I think I’ll try that next time.

We eat too much mazors puff pastry.

The large squares- line the bottom of a 9x13 with 3 squares of dough (cut one in half)
Slice a few apples and add a can of cherries. If you like more sweetness, sprinkle a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon on top.
Cover with more dough squares. Bake 350 for about 45 min.

Presto apple cherry pie
Optional- sprinkle confectioner's sugar on top after baking or make a light glaze.

Or, mushroom knish pie:
Fry onions and 2 boxes mushrooms.
Spice: salt pepper garlic dill soy sauce.
Again, cover the bottom of a 9x13 with 3 squares of dough. Spread the mushrooms out. Cover with more dough squares on top.
Egg and sesame seeds extra, if you wish.
Bake 350 about 30-45 min.

These are fantastic.
Calls for almond butter, but you can switch it out for peanut butter.

Lately it’s open a bag of frozen broccoli, take the bottle of low salt soy sauce and drizzle over it, then follow with drizzling toasted sesame oil. Done. Bake at something over 400 until nice and crispy edges.

Take cans of chickpeas, drizzle olive oil. Sprinkle with sugar, salt, paprika, chili powder. Toast at 350 until roasted but not too hard. It’s a good snack, and you can leave out the sugar.

Also, ladies, Duncan Heinz brownie mix is better than any other brownie I’ve tried. True story.

These are our favorite quick snacks. No baking so kids can really do it all.

Oat balls:
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 shredded unsweetened coconut
1/2 cups nut/seed butter (I usually use cashew or almond)
1/4-1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/3 cup natural silan (can also use honey)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
Healthy dash of cinnamon

Mix everything together in a bowl and cover. Refrigerate 1/2hr-overnight. Roll into balls. Store in fridge or freezer, but they won't last long anyways.
