Hi! My relative is moving to Israel and will need to quarantine. We don't have family members who can assist. Is there a service or organization that can help them obtain grocery/food, and household necessities (dry goods)?

Try having her ask in a local group to where she is moving. Many communities now have quarantine committtees.

I don't know if things have changed but when I had one of relatives was in bidud, the municipality offered to do groceries. Its abit more complicated when your talking about olim who probably wont have the kitchen set up to cook but you can call up the local municipality of where they'll be and ask them what help they can give

https://aliyahwithease.com/

My friend recently made aliyah during covid and used this company to set up her apartment before she arrived.

We have new olim in our neighborhood. The town has an olim coordinator, who got in touch with the neighbors, and together we made sure that they had food in the fridge when they arrived, someone built them a sukka, we're doing their errands, and there's a meal train to cover them for the first few weeks.

I imagine that many communities would be willing and happy to help. It's a question of reaching out and letting the new neighbors what you'll need.

Anyone making aliyah can do their two weeks bidud in a hotel if they want to. There are one or two hotels specifically set aside for bidud for people returning from chutz l'aretz.
