In my eyes, the idiocy is unrelated to your schools opening and closing: It is your invitation to bashing and stereotyping and sinas chinam. And yes, you just invited another thread for this, even if there are a dozen others.
And no, I am not in Brooklyn so this has no bearing on me at all.

Aha, so the school opening isn't inviting chillul Hashem, sinas chinam, bashing, and stereotyping, but someone mentioning it, is. What a screwed up attitude.

He said schools are closed for 14 days as of last Tuesday. After that, it depends on the percentage.
However, all schools in bp are opening as childcare, which is considered essential and is legal
