I haven’t properly cleaned my oven since before rosh hashana because my life is crazy. I sprayed st moritz This morning and let it sit them wiped off. Had to do that twice and it’s still not clean. The grates still have oil and shmutz on it. I hate self cleaning cuz it smells like crazy and now with everyone home for Who knows how long I have all day to work on it! What are your best tips and tricks to get your oven sparkling? I figure once I have it sparkly clean it will be easier to maintain. So willing to put in time and effort.

Someone here recommended fume free easy off, and it’s a total miracle worker! Spray it on and leave overnight before wiping with a wet rag.

Good old fashioned easy off. The brush on
The truth is you might have to do any cleaning a few times. And use a warm wet shmatte not a dry one

The fumes from st moritz are way more toxic than self clean!
Open some windows and self clean for an hour or two.
