Bumping this up. Can I buy a twin size set from a non jewish store and then buy a solid 48 inch sheet from somewhere?

I've done it, and it's not cheaper. There are some places that have food linen for decent prices like Closeout Connections and D'Rose.

Probably can. We got just the sheets for our 48" beds at closeout connection only because we had quilt covers from a different set that we had to replace the sheets for. Color is a droop off but doesn't bother me. Think the sheets were $10 each.

I just buy twin size duvet cover sets and full size sheets. The extra few inches is no big deal.

Where is d'rose? I didn't see anything I really liked in closeout connection although I have bought from there in the past.

D'Rose is at 1315 47th St. They have all price points, so just tell them what you're looking for.
