Does anyone work in the mortgage industry that can give me some insight on this?
I'm a CPA working part time for a small firm. I've always thought about making a career change. I like the numbers aspect of accounting, but not so much the business aspect. I was thinking that I'd get more job satisfaction from helping people finance their home versus helping businesses save on taxes. I think I'd be great at this because of my accounting background. I'm assuming I would need to take a course to get certified and then work for a mortgage company to get experience. I also live oot and as far as I know no one within the community does mortgages so I'm thinking this may be a great opportunity to get into. Would love some feedback from anyone in the industry. TIA

DH is a mortgage broker. He works on commission basis only so the upside is there is no limit as to how much he can earn but it requires strong doses of bitachon at quiet times.
