Laundry and Netflix?

Occasionally my husband will eat Shabbos leftovers

In my parents home, melave Malka was do your own thing really. Either you washed or you didnt but no pressure no big deal

When I got married though it changed. I don't generally wash but I eat something and my husband washes every week and then we sing zemiros and I really enjoy it

By us in the winter we do official malava malka's . I happen to love the short shabbosim and long motza shabbos since it becomes family time . We watch and eat and spend enjoying each others.

Each week different:
French toast
Pizza or pizza bread (use pizza maker)
Hot farina
Bagels
Hot choclate
Vegetable salad and eggs ect.

Only winter early zman we do.

I serve all the leftovers. The kids love toasted challah with salami. I make sure to have extra dessert which they also look forward to.
We light candles, put on motzai shabbos music (avraham fried), and we watch a short inspiring Torah video.
Then we bentch -> everyone helps to clean up -> bedtime routine.

When I was in seminary, long time ago,a girl asked me "_what do you say in your house on motsei Shabbess?"
Gut voch or shavoua tov"
I said _"put on the T.V"
She didn't appreciate 😂
(And than I told it to my mother ,and she also didn't appreciate because she didn't want the seminary to know that we have a television...🤣🤣)
