My husband just made this this week after tasting our brother in laws homemade beef jerky.
Why would I want to post a recipe that multiple people have gotten from me under my username?

brisket or in Israel use a #3 or 2
cut into small strips against the grain
marinade in soy sauce, brown sugar and if you want spicy use spicy chili flakes
keep it in for at least an hour (we did overnight and was much better)

line the bottom of the oven with foil
line the beef on the grates (not the baking pan)
bake on 75 Celsius for 2 1/2 hours using a stick made of foil to keep oven slightly open

keep in fridge or freezer as there are no preservatives

enjoy!

Mine wasn't spicy. It wasn't meant to be- I don't like spicy.

At home it’s 140c and where I am now it’s a commercial oven and I think the thermometer is broken. It’s not electric.

You can do it at a higher temp.
Worked very well.

I put mine on a cooling rack in a cookie sheet.
Much less mess

Some ovens will break if you line the bottom with foil or go on fire.
