-child/children bored all day and can't find what to keep busy with, until evening time when it's time for bed, suddenly they are sooooo busy Tongue Out
- When offered healthyish food for supper: "eewww! I hate it!", But when mom is on a diet and sits down to eat her healthy food, suddenly everyone comes and shnors from her...

There are probably more, but I can't think of any right now.
Feel free to add your examples and please let me know if this phenomenon has an official term!?!?

TIA!

When asked to do a chore, they are too tired; but when it's bedtime, they want to help!

When asked about their day, they give you silent treatment or brush you off, but when they're in their beds already they remind themselves of all they want to relate to you about their day!

When you tell them to do something, they don't but when you don't allow, they want to. Reverse psychology works for a reason!

When already in bed they remind themselves something so important to say, that if I don't allow them to share right then, they won't remember in the morning what they wanted to say.

When everyone loves a particular food so much, you run out of it really quickly. Next time in the store you make sure to stock up on a lot and all of a sudden no one likes it anymore...
