Does anyone know anything about Meoros Rochel Leah In Lakewood? Heard that it is not so Yeshivish and more accepting, is that true?

It's not known to be a yeshivish school, but it definitely has a lot of good frum lakewood type families. Idk what you mean by more accepting. It's a regular basis yaakov type of school

It’s a Bais Yaakov school but not super yeshivish by lakewood standards.

Would be very yeshivish anywhere in else besides maybe Brooklyn or Monsey where it would be mainstream BY.

Color shirt is easier (my DH wears colored with yeshivish hashkafa)
But mothers clothing may be more difficult - not talking trendy or sheitel length - just knees, elbows. Schools will require knee socks on girls in primary and tights by 5th grade.
What about movies,music, internet,tv. If it’s just dress it may be less complicated.

They are in the same ballpark. I don’t think you can definitively say one is more than the other. Meoros is more Brooklyn-y. But most girls in Meoros would fit in at Nachlas and vice versa .

I've heard that there are some heimish chassidish lite in Bnos Bracha.
But really you could send to any BY type school.
My sister's DH is heimish and they send to Bais Faiga.

I think it dipends what your looking for. If your looking specifically for a heimish style school that clientele majority heimish /translate to Yiddish then none of these are it. If your looking for a bais yaakov school that has a sprinkle of light chasidish I think all above listed are options.

Hi! I send to meoros and we’re thrilled ;-) it’s more of a working crowd that’s very torahdik. Very very warm school.

It’s hard to get into but definitely try. If you have any pull that would help. Rabbi landau’s the dean is really nice and the principals are very warm special people.
