would you consider sleeping in her room with her for a week or as long as it takes to condition her into sleeping in her own bed? she'll wake up and you'll be there for her... maybe she would just go back to sleep. maybe on an air mattress?

Curious, why wouldn’t you lock your door?
(That’s about the age I was when my parents gave me a lock on MY door)

This is what attachment parenting is all about. It’s okay, you can make a smooth transition to her chosson from one night to the next when the time comes b’shaah tovah

What? No it's not. Neither the Sears' definition of it (which is scientifically bs) or the very incredible and nuanced science of attachment.

If the sneaking in is a problem, would you consider hanging bells on your door once you’re going to sleep so that you can address her coming in at the moment?

Actually she has a lock on her own bedroom.. I do think that’s important so that she can feel she has privacy when changing.

Try the calm app. It has loads of sleep stories among other things. I found it really helpful BH.

Why wouldn’t you lock your door? Maybe this is a good time to have a conversation about privacy. (You are entitled to yours, and she is old enough to sleep through the night without you . . .)
