I haven't had Covid but I particularly worry about my blood type. I've heard Type A blood does the worst. Curious about people's experience.

A+. Had covid in March. It was like a bad flu. Wasn't fun but BH pulled through. Age is a big factor. I'm 37. My relatives with same blood type who are older had it harder.

I’m Type A and in mid 50s. I’m pretty nervous and being super careful, but I don’t think blood type is as big a risk factor as some others (e.g. being male, overweight, immunocompromised, diabetic, etc.)

A+ blood type. In my 40s. Slightly overweight. Had COVID in the spring. B"H it wasn't too bad for me. Low fever, fatigue, some aches, a bit of tightness in the chest, but no real cough or difficulty breathing and no serious/dangerous symptoms B"H.

A family member of mine is O blood type and was hospitalized for a week with cytokine storm and low oxygen levels. So there goes that theory.

A Harvard study said the blood type concept isn't true. I'm fit and young with A- had a cough, chest pain, pressure, yawning breathe for 2-3 weeks, fever and chills for a few days but it felt mild to me just very uncomfortable thought it was asthma (which I don't have). My friend has A and only lost her smell for 5 days...

I’m A- and for me it was like a bad flu, no worse.

I'm A+. In my 40's, and slightly overweight. Had relatively mild flu-like symptoms for 5 days, also had backpain and lost my sense of smell. Had a lingering cough, but it was not heavy and no breathing issues.
Biggest issue for me is that it's 7 months since and I still have taste issues. Some things taste funny or even bad. Not a biggee but annoying.
