I’m going through a miscarriage and taking it very hard. I’m at home now by myself in emotional and physical pain. Can’t cry anymore. I have Netflix but need a show that isn’t Officially comedy (not ready to laugh hard yet) Not romantic and not sad or emotional. Something like gossip girl or Emily in Paris. Already saw both in the past. Any recommendations?

Emily in Paris. It’s brand new, you can binge watch the first season.
Sorry about the mc. Sucks.

I’m so sorry.
After my miscarriage I remember watching Kung fu panda.
After a different miscarriage I remember reading the 8th Harry Potter book (the play) on kindle.

What about a show like downton Abbey?

I hope these ideas are helpful. I don’t have Netflix but Downton is on Amazon prime. You could probably rent it? Not sure.

Sending hugs and praying for your healing soon.

Hugs.

From experience - stay away from any medical dramas ( like greys) . I made that mistake, was horrible

Loved downtonabbey
Loved the good place
Loved silly comedies like Big Bang theory and mom and friends

Nothing that made me roll from laughter but silly enough to relax my brain and body

Hope you feel better physically and emotionally soon!

Thanks for the recommendations. I already saw Gilmore girls, Emily in Paris, the good place and gossip girl. Was a very hard pregnancy so Netflix was my best friend. I tried other shows Last week like sweet magnolias but any crying sets off my tears. Anything else that’s similar to gossip girl etc?

I watched gossip girl three times over 🙈
I’m not sure what’s on Netflix but what about cooking competitions? My kids love Nailed It.

So sorry for what you’re going through...

If you have Amazon Prime I recommend The Paradise (haven’t finished season 2 but so far so good).

Also The Office is good for watching over and over esp when going through a hard time.

I really liked The Crown.

Also Space Force was good but funny (you said you don't want funny). Its basically The Office (Steve Carrell is in it).

A very light comedy is "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt". Two fun shows are "Isn't it Romantic" and "I am Not an Easy Man".

I've been binge watching cooking shows lately. I also love any kind of nature documentary.

I'm sorry for the loss, feel better soon. Hug
