Hi,
Does anyone know someone who helps people apply for food stamps in Brooklyn?
Not COJO please I had a bad experience.
Would prefer someone working on their own and I pay them

Bump. Op did you end up using the person listed above? Can you post his or her name? And prices?
Or does anyone else have a recommendation?

It's pretty simple to do yourself online. (If the person in question doesn't have internet, you may be able to do it at a local library.)

You can Google it, I think the website is called Access NYC or something like that.

No, the number above is someone Wertzberger. He takes $50 to do it.

I didn't use that number because no other info was given just a number. Sternhill wanted to charge regardless of if I got approved or not so I just did it myself. Feel free to ask any questions.

I think Metropolitan Council also helps you apply for food stamps.

Feel free to ask any questions. | Was it complicated or straightforward? I have some questions which I need someone to answer for me. If I made over the limit until recently but am now unable to work, will I qualify?

If you earned below the income limit in the past 30 days you will qualify. You can post any questions here and I'll try to answer. I have been doing it for some time now

They ask for proof of income for the last 30 days. So it's best to wait until your income for the past 30 days is below the limit.
