These are from a website called Azazie. They have tons of reasonably priced dresses in different colors - the idea being, I think, that you could have your bridesmaids all wear different dresses but the colors would match (or the same dress in different colors).

They're not aimed at frum consumers, but wondering if people would consider the dresses linked below appropriate. They're part of the "mother of the bride" section, not bridesmaids, but... I think they could work anyway. Thoughts?

The ones that are see through sleeves I would not wear. But the others are fine.
But they are all lovely.

They all look like they can be altered to be properly tzenuis. A shell the exact shade should do the trick.

I think they are vey pretty.
See thru sleeves could be worn by lining or buying shell exact same shade! (Shell would help with wide neckline!)

They can all be made tznius pretty easily either through alterations or wearing a matching shell.

#2 is beautiful! (but obviously needs a shell or alterations).

#2 is my favorite as well!
(I really also like 3, maybe the most, but the neckline scares me as I don't like the shell just plopped underneath and showing at the neck, and to rebuild the lace is daunting.)

Often the sheer styles that people intend to wear with a shell, are too tight to accommodate the shell or lining, since they are designed to be worn as is.

They are very pretty (I like the first two and the last the best), but I will mention that a lot of times, wearing a shell with a boatneck gown looks a little funny since you see a lot of shell. I would avoid the third gown for this reason.

I like the last the best for younger women. I think it could be worn with a tight shell. The first looks too mature for a young woman.

They sell extra fabric by the yard for a very reasonable price.

That seems like the best way to get the right fabric for lining sleeves!

Oh wow, I didn't see that! That is great.

The bridesmaids are older (30s and 40s) which is why I don't think they'll mind having more "mature" dresses. Very Happy

Thanks everyone for the feedback!

The first definitely modest. The others slightly iffy because of the sleeves (#2 the most problematic)

Some of them look very close fitting, and some seem to emphasize the bust. I don't know that I would be comfortable wearing any of them.

They are all "close" to being right, but not for that kind of money. You need them to be perfect as-is.

Wearing a shell not only looks nerdy, but if there is going to be a lot of dancing it's going to be hot and sweaty as well.

This dress is perfect, and comes in several colors:

Where did you find this site? They have beautiful, inexpensive dresses. And they offer custom sizing.
I would take one size up for shell. Modal shells are very comfortable
The blue one, I would wear as mother of groom/ bride
Buying and adding material should not be too expensive. I’ve done it and it’s totally worth it.

Rose and grape are WAY too mature for bridesmaids. I see rose on grandma, and I don't mean a young grandma.

The others will need to sleeves lines, but are otherwise fine. My favorite is the last (desert rose).

The first one is way too matronly.
