A mask should cover the mouth and nose, both for safety and because a mask that covers the mouth and not the nose looks really bad.

The mask over the mouth overemphasizes the nose and makes it look like a pig's snout. It looks really ugly. This is a beauty tip: if you insist on wearing your mask incorrectly, wear a chin guard.
