these vaccinations/vaccines have been around for over 50 years. |
We don't vaccinate against smallpox anymore. I'm not sure about 35 years ago.

My answer remains. According to google, Hib vaccine was first licensed in the USA in December of 1987 which makes it not yet 33 years old, and people don't usually run to get a vaccine as soon as it comes out. Doctors too won't usually push the brand new vaccines. The chances that OP was vaccinated with Hib 35-40 years ago (which was her original question) is almost nil.

No, we didn't.... I guess you can say that most of us are walking around "unvaccinated."
All we got were Polio, MMR, DPT (that was before DTaP). Ask your mother/grandmother/ aunt. Good Luck!
