Looking for something that teaches parents to love their role as mothers or fathers. On how to love them and want them and want to be with them and care about their wants and needs and putting them first. I grew up so egotistical and independent that I resent putting their needs first. I want to feel like what I'm doing is holy and doing it with love and joy and not resenting them for being human and making normal mistakes as kids.

I'm so over all the fighting, no one listening to me and the constant mess.

(On a side note what gives you chizuk when you feel burned out?)

I want a course or book that teaches how to keep the atmosphere in the home positive even when they disobey or there is chaos!!! Lately I just can't wait for my husband to come home. I count the minutes and don't look forward to time with my kids ever. Except the little ones who are naturally cute and obey me Smile

Kids are ten and under.

Are they disciplined? Sometimes learning to discipline them helps you love them. It's easier to love a child that is behaving.

I really loved the book playful parenting bec it got me more involved with my children. There is another book titled Attachment Focused Parenting that can also be helpful. I really think that getting on the floor and playing with them is a great way to connect. Race them, wrestle, peek a boo, tag, hide and seek etc..

I'm gonna go ahead and recommend Blimie Heller too, I have not yet taken her course although I plan to sign up for the next cycle, but I've followed her on Instagram for a long time and think she is exactly what you are looking for.
