Did anyone on here grow up in the Clinton Hills Neighbourhood of Williamsburg?
Near Pratt Art Institute.
On Classon avenue specifically.

I'm going Amother for this- but it would be nice to go down memory lane.

I had cousins who did.
I remember going Lag Bomer, since they had a huge backyard with the only fire in town.
Today there are fires all over.
Also the amount of interesting Sukkos down there... As no one had porches.
There was a huge population of sefardim in that development, which made for many interesting discussions in Williamsburg.

Yes! Lag beomer and Sukkos were so so beautiful! We had this large bavkyard- enclosed area with so much joy and Yom tov spirit !!!

There were 4 sefardi families in a big! Building. What were the discussions? Curious...

It's funny. Now Clinton Hills is New Williamsburg, extention to Wmsbg for chassidim rest of area is Artists or black community. I live in Clinton Hills on map. The young ones moved to outskirts. The center of wmsbg is a Moshav Zekeinim.

I lived in Clinton Hill a few years ago. It was a lovely area, very diverse and a great variety of shops. The Rabbi who is affiliated with Pratt (Chabad?) ran a very small but friendly shul on Myrtle ave.

Kind of a stereotype. I lived there with my husband - we were neither artists nor Black. It's very diverse.
