I want to publicly express thanks to the One Above Yes

for sparing me physical financial and social emotional
stress and pain when we drove into a ditch yesterday
with a car my husband borrowed because ours was at the mechanic Surprised

We totally could've flipped over - and we didn't Hooray

We could've been trapped in there - and we weren't Hooray

The car could've been totalled - and it wasn't Hooray

It could've costed us a pretty penny - and it didn't Hooray

The borrower could've been mad - and he wasn't Hooray

My children could've been with us in the car and they were safely home! Can't Believe It

We didn't go to the simcha we were headed to
but after all those blessings - that must be a blessing as well Dancing

Big shout out to chaveirim for coming to the rescue - giving us a boost
when we drained the battery -checking to see if the car is damaged - and
escorting us on our way only after making sure we knew how to get home
from where we were Applause

Chaveirim is literally the best.
We were newly married, driving to a Shiva call from Brooklyn to Lakewood. As we got into Lakewood we drove over a train tracks and something popped in our car, totaling it. We got out of the car and went into a nearby grocery (it was freezing out). Someone gave us the number of chaveirim. They helped us find a towing company, and then drove around to all local wedding halls to find people going back to Brooklyn who can give us a ride home. Was so nice of all the volunteers who put in that extra effort. Applause
